Short Bio
I am a doctoral student in the Swedish Graduate School of Digital Philology at Lund University. In my research, I apply natural language processing, statistics and machine learning to the study of historical languages, with a focus on Ancient Greek.
Current Research
Currently I am part of a research project on Ancient Greek textual restoration, parsing, and metrical scansion as well as the first fully general models for automatic disambiguation of vowel length. To assist textual restoration, I am researching automatic authorship attribution, and the relative value of features from syntax, semantics, LLM perplexity and beyond.
I have also recently done work on the melody of the songs of Aristophanes’ comedies and the victory odes of Pindar.
